The Vancouver Police Board (the Board) works to ensure that there is a high standard of policing, and that the interaction between police and the community is fair and responsive. This Board Manual sets out the legislative framework, policies, processes and procedures that ensure that the Board and all directors will conduct the Board’s affairs in accordance with the standards established in the Police Act.
