The Vancouver Police Board (the Board) is the oversight body for the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) and we are accountable to the people of Vancouver.
We are not the police department; you can find the VPD website here.

Anyone who needs immediate police services should call 911 for an emergency or call the non-emergency line at: 604-717-3321.
Service or Policy Complaints
The Board does not have jurisdiction over individual police officer conduct. Conduct complaints are under the purview of the Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner. If you would like to make a service or policy complaint about the general direction and management of the VPD – as it relates to staffing or resource allocation, training programs, standing orders or policies, the ability to respond to requests for assistance, or internal procedures – please see the Service or Policy Complaints section of our website.
